This is the third installment of my no-money spent (NMS) series covering the best tips and tricks for navigating Madden 25 ultimate team without having to use a credit card. Right now, one of the best ways to attack no money spent is by checking out the new promos this week. Below is all of the new content that we will be getting.
With multiple promos and new weekly updates to past promos, we need to look out for some key upgrades to our no-money-spent teams. We will be getting multiple free 88+ overalls throughout this week. Take a look below to see how you can obtain these cards.

Hispanic Heritage Promo
The Hispanic Heritage Month promo dropped yesterday on MUT and it is one of the best ways to earn free 88 overalls right now. By obtaining heritage badges you can upgrade any of the free 80 overalls that you received in your welcome pack. The players are Braxton Berrios, Anthony Munoz, Chris Rodriguez Jr, Malcolm Rodriguez, and Rigoberto Sanchez. Personally, I am weak at OLB right now and that Malcolm Rodriguez card fits perfectly in my scheme.
Heritage Badges
Heritage Badges are the way to turn your free 80 overall cards into 88 overalls. There will be enough tokens to max out three of these players to 88 overall. You can earn these tokens by playing the solo challenges, daily challenges, and finishing weekly player missions. The missions seem simple and are less time-consuming than missions in bigger programs like the breakout program.
Gridiron Guardians
Gridiron Guardians is the new promo dropping on Friday this week and the card art looks amazing on these cards! Some of the bosses for the season are highlighted above including Chris Olave, Damar Hamlin, Isiah Pacheco, Jevon Baker, and Zevon Collins. The LTD cards when this dropped got leaked as well as they are Jake Mathews and L’Jarius Sneed. Once we get more info about this promo later this week, we will know their overalls and the henchman we can earn for free through the program.
H2H Ranked
H2H ranked will reset and along with that will include new rewards. The Amnai Oruwariye is being replaced with a Jalen Hyatt card that will have 92 speed when fully upgraded. The two boss players from moving up through the head-to-head ranks are Danielle Hunter 90 overall and Randall Cunningham 91 overall. The rewards are well worth the grind of playing head-to-head ranked.
Season 2 Challenges
Season 2 Challenges are a consistent way of working towards the best NMS spent team in Madden 25. We get 6 free 81 cards that can be upgraded to 89 overall after we work through the entire field pass. The field pass this time around includes more options packs, which include the boom or bust pack. As we wrap things up in the program there are plenty of opportunities to catch up quickly to obtain your free 89 overall cards. I would recommend going with Michael Penix Jr, Cooper Dejean, and Tyron Smith.
Solo Challenges
Solos are one of the best ways to finish your daily challenges while working towards free rewards. The two programs you need to keep up with weekly are the Legends and AKA programs. When you earn enough tokens from playing these solos you can get a free Legend Boss fantasy pack. Right now, there are enough tokens in the game to get a boss legend pack and a boss AKA player.
This week a new release of Team Builders is dropping as well. The boss cards shown above will all be 91 overalls, and they include Austin Ekeler, DK Metcalf, Jadeveon Clowney, Justin Reid, Mike Hilton, and Trey McBride. I am going to be targeting that Trey McBride card as I am lacking at the TE position. Expect there to be a free 86 overall to go along with the solo challenges when this drops.
