As we enter Week 12, let’s examine the changes to be implemented for fantasy managers in the coming weeks. It’s time to make tough decisions about underperforming players to drop, regardless of draft capital or popularity.
Russell Wilson – QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Roster Percentage: 22%
Wilson’s recent performance raises concerns about his fantasy viability. Against the Ravens, he completed just 1 of 8 passes for -1 yards when under pressure, with an interception and four sacks.
His upcoming schedule is particularly challenging, with five divisional games in the final seven weeks and matchups against the Eagles and Chiefs—both top-tier defenses. At this point in the season, fantasy managers need reliability more than speculation on ceiling games.
Don’t be fooled by the popularity and hype, fantasy management hinges more on statistical production from quarterbacks outside of winning records. In the Steeler’s case, their winning record can be attributed to elite coaching, offensive diversification, and Chris Boswell more than Russell Wilson’s leadership.
Diontae Johnson – WR, Baltimore Ravens
Roster Percentage: 78%
Johnson’s integration into the Ravens’ offense has been minimal. In his third game with Baltimore, he played just 11 snaps and failed to record a catch on two targets against his former Steelers squad. Johnson’s fantasy outlook remains limited with a tough upcoming schedule (Chargers, Eagles) and a Week 14 bye.
Travis Etienne – RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Roster Percentage: 89%
Despite returning from injury and being cleared to play, Etienne is still cause for concern. In Week 11 against the Lions, he managed just 27 yards on 12 carries (2.3 yards per carry) and added only 6 receiving yards on three catches. He’s recorded under 50 rushing yards in five straight games.
With Trevor Lawrence injured and Tank Bigsby potentially returning from an ankle injury after the Week 12 bye, Etienne faces additional challenges to reaching his potential upside. The Jaguars’ upcoming matchup against the Texans, who rank 5th in limiting fantasy points to running backs, further complicates things.
Jaylen Waddle – WR, Miami Dolphins
Roster Percentage: 92%
Waddle’s production has been concerning, with only two games over 50 receiving yards in 10 appearances and a single touchdown this season. He’s scored single-digit fantasy points in nine straight games, with his last double-digit performance coming in Week 1.
Mike Williams – WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
Roster Percentage: 18%
Williams received zero targets in Week 11 despite Wilson attempting 36 passes. His limited snap count in 11-personnel packages and minimal practice time before Thursday’s game in Cleveland suggests his role won’t expand soon.
With George Pickens established as the clear WR1, Williams lacks consistent opportunities in Pittsburgh’s run-heavy offense.
