Will Levis has had a journey that may noy be what he envisioned. NFL Draft experts like Mel Kiper saw Levis as an early first round talent heading into the 2023 draft. Instead, Levis fell all the way out of the first round and instead was picked by the Tennessee Titans in the early second.

Levis came in and was not immediately handed the keys. He started the year off behind Ryan Tannehill. However, in Week 8 of the 2023 season, Levis made his NFL debut against the Atlanta Falcons, where he threw for four touchdowns, showing his impact immediately. After that, Levis threw just four more over 7 more full games. However, the Kentucky alum showed flashes and potential, leading the Titans to add some help for him in the offseason following his rookie campaign.

The Titans paired Free Agent Wide Receiver Calvin Ridley alongside Deandre Hopkins. While both are going to be past 30 by the end of the season, they are still high-level receiving threats in the league. Also, the Titans added Running Back Tony Pollard from Dallas, pairing him with Tyjae Spears.

Aside from offense, the Titans have bolstered up their defense as well. Linebackers Kenneth Murray and Ernest Jones have been brought in to take over the middle. Chidobe Awuzie joins new Head Coach Brian Callahan in heading over from Cincinnati. Callahan himself is an OL savant, and helped contribute to Cincy’s offensive success over the last few seasons.

On the Offensive Line, the Titans signed FA Center Lloyd Cushenberry from Denver, and drafted OT JC Latham from perennial powerhouse Alabama. With two good backs and threats out wide, the Titans are gearing up Will Levis to have a shot to prove himself and control as much of Tennessee’s destiny as he can personally. In an AFC South that seems like it’s the Texans’ to lose, the Titans hope to have something to say.
