Finding the best guys to fit into your lineup is not always the easiest task when dealing with bye weeks or injuries. Each week we drop three emergency starts that you can fill into your fantasy lineup and avoid a “bust” performance. All the players mentioned are available in 75% or more of Fantasy leagues. Below are three players that can help you win your week in fantasy that are on waivers right now.
Elijah Moore WR (CLE)
Since Jameis Winston took over as the starting QB for the Browns, Moore has had a 23% target share, 1.49 yards per route run, and a 23.9% first-read share, with one top 24 wide receiver finish (WR22). Moore and the other Browns receivers have been good option in PPR formats since Winston took over. Moore should be an integral part of the passing attack this week against the Saints who have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game and the second-most receiving yards per game to slot receivers.
Mike Williams WR (PIT)
Williams is a true desperation play in fantasy football this week. In his debut in Pittsburgh, he only played 24% of snaps while hauling 1 pass for a 32-yard touchdown in the win over the Commanders. His snap count and routes run will increase in his second week in Pittsburgh providing more opportunities. The matchup is right for him to be viable in lineups on limited targets against the Ravens. The Ravens have allowed the most fantasy points per game and the most receiving yards per game to perimeter wide receivers this season.
Dawson Knox TE (BUF)
Knox will be the Bills’ starting tight end this week with Dalton Kincaid ruled out. Knox should be in line for a good week with increased snaps and a good matchup. In his limited snaps, he has a 112-passer rating when targeted with a 1.89 fantasy points per target which is impressive. The Chiefs have allowed the most receiving yards per game, the fifth-highest yards per reception, and the second-most fantasy points per game to tight ends. Expect Knox to fill in nicely for the injured Kincaid and reach 10 points in Week 11.
