5 of the Biggest Fallers to Know in Fantasy Football after the Postseason

The season has officially concluded with the Philadelphia Eagles taking home the Super Bowl trophy and ending the Chiefs’ chances at a three-peat. Jalen Hurts had a dominant postseason as he averaged 24.1 fantasy points per game and was named Super Bowl MVP. I recently wrote an article about the biggest risers this postseason and now we need to discuss the biggest fallers. Fallers are players who only hurt their stock ahead of 2025 fantasy drafts based on their performances. Below I mention my five biggest fallers in fantasy football after the postseason.

The Biggest Fallers

1. Isiah Pacheco RB (KC)

Stats: 13 Carries, 37 Rushing Yards, 3 Catches, 17 Receiving Yards, 0 Touchdowns (3 Games)

PPG: 3.3

Summary: Isiah Pacheco was not the same player since returning from a serious injury and ultimately got phased out of the Chiefs’ game plan in the postseason. Pacheco finished with only 16 touches for 54 yards while splitting time with Kareem Hunt and Samaje Perine. Getting healthy in the offseason will help but I am worried that he will not return to the bell cow back role we saw to start the season. Pacheco’s value will fluctuate depending on whether they resign Hunt and Perine or look elsewhere. Ultimately it is a wait-and-see with him but his postseason performance helped him start falling lower on draft boards in 2025.

2. Amari Cooper WR (BUF)

Stats: 6 Catches, 41 Yards. 0 Touchdowns (3 Games)

PPG: 3.4

Summary: Amari Cooper did not benefit from a midseason trade that sent him from Cleveland to Buffalo. Cooper only exceeded 10 points twice in his time with Buffalo while never establishing himself as the team’s number-one target. The postseason production was in line with his regular season production only seeing eight targets in three weeks resulting in 3.4 points per game. The best-case scenario for him this offseason is to stay away from Buffalo if he wants more volume in the passing game. Cooper’s free agency decision will impact his value more than other players in the coming months.

3. Cooper Kupp WR (LAR)

Stats: 6 Catches, 90 Yards, 0 Touchdowns (2 Games)

PPG: 7.5

Summary: Cooper Kupp’s time in Los Angeles looks like it is coming to an end after the team announced they will be trading him ahead of the 2025 season. Kupp fell off a cliff in the second of the season and had the lowest open receiver score of his career this past season. In the playoffs, he did nothing to improve his stock only averaging 7.5 points per game. Father time has caught up to Cooper Kupp and I would be surprised to see him return to peak form on a new team in 2025.

4. Dalton Kincaid TE (BUF)

Stats: 6 Catches, 71 Yards, 0 Touchdowns (3 Games)

PPG: 4.4

Summary: Dalton Kincaid was listed as one of the biggest busts from the 2024 season and was even worse in the postseason. He finished with only 6 catches for 71 yards lowering his draft positioning even more in 2025. Kincaid ranked 26th in target quality rating and with Joe Brady returning next season, I do not have high hopes for him next year. Kincaid is one of the biggest fallers of the postseason and should be avoided at all costs this upcoming season.

5. Quentin Johnston WR (LAC)

Stats: 0 Catches, 0 Yards, 0 Touchdowns (1 Game)

PPG: 0.0

Summary: After a 31.6 performance to close the season, many were hoping that Quentin Johnston had finally arrived as a consistent option in fantasy football. In his first playoff game, he finished with 0 catches on five targets with some notable drops mixed in there. Consistency was Johnston’s biggest flaw this past season and it will scare many managers away in 2025 resulting in his falling ADP in early mock drafts. If the Chargers add another receiver this offseason, Johnston’s ADP could plummet even more.
