Each week I will break down each team’s running back and wide receiver snap share percentages and the amount of touches/targets they receive that week. Although these numbers do not always lead to fantasy football results, they are worth monitoring for multiple reasons. Opportunity is the best way to determine a player’s floor in fantasy football. The more snaps and volume a player receives, the more likely they will produce more points weekly. Conversely, a player who is not receiving as many snaps or touches but has been highly efficient is a good breakout candidate in future weeks. Below I mention some key takeaways as well as each team’s usage rates.
Key Takeaways
- Jalen McMillian and Trey Palmer will fill as the top WR’s in Tampa Bay
- Chase Brown has solidified his role within the Bengals offense
- Tank Bigsby is earning more playing time upon Etienne’s return
- Tyler Goodson is the handcuff to own for the Colts with Jonathan Taylor out
- Amari Cooper played limited snaps but had 5 targets on 19 routes run
- Nick Chubb’s snaps will slowly increase each week going forward
- Tyrone Tracy Jr. dominated the Giants backfield snaps in week seven
- Jaylen Warren is a name to watch with Russell Wilson at quarterback for the Steelers
- Despite Zamir White’s return, Alexander Mattison is the RB1 for the Raiders
- Deandre Hopkins trade impact
- Chiefs: Mahomes UP, Kelce UP, Worthy DOWN
- Titans: Ridley UP, Westbrook-Ikhine UP
