Top Priority Waiver Wire Pickups (If Available)

Sincere McCormick RB (LV)

13% Rostered

Sincere McCormick was expected to take on a larger role after his impressive performance against the Chiefs last week. McCormick against the Bucs finished with 15 carries for 78 yards with 2 catches for 11 yards on 3 targets in an increased role. He operated as the primary back on early downs while Ameer Abdullah played only on passing downs for the Raiders. McCormick now has two straight games over 60 rushing yards with 5 yards per carry and has carved out a bigger role in the Raiders’ offense.

Tank Bigsby RB (JAX)

34% Rostered

The Jaguars were able to operate in a neutral game script for one of the first times in a while providing Tank Bigsby with the perfect opportunity to succeed. Bigsby has operated as the primary early down back in Jacksonville and led the team with 18 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown in the win. Travis Etienne was held to just 4 carries for 20 yards but was able to haul in 4 passes for 50 yards. Bigsby will never get the third down snaps but matchups against the Jets, Raiders, and Titans ahead are appealing. The Jaguars will be within reach of all of those matchups, making Bigsby a flex play with his volume on early downs.

Isaiah Davis RB (NYJ)

10% Rostered

After the injury to Breece Hall, Braelon Allen was expected to take a big role with Isaiah Davis sprinkling in some snaps. Instead, we got a true backfield split between the rookie running backs with Braelon Allen finishing with 31 snaps while operating as the early down back and Isaiah Davis with 30 snaps as the third down back. Davis had the bigger day of the pair finishing with 15.7 points on 13 touches for 67 yards and a touchdown. If Breece Hall misses another game next week I think Davis is the more valuable back in PPR leagues while Allen holds more value in Half PPR and standard formats.

Worthy Waiver Wire Pickups

Patrick Taylor Jr. RB (SF)

5% Rostered

With Isaac Guerendo leaving Sunday’s game early due to injury, Patrick Taylor Jr. would be the next guy in line in San Francisco. In Guerendo’s debut, he finished with 128 total yards and two touchdowns automatically slotting into a bell cow role. When filling in for Guerendo last week, Taylor finished with 7 carries for 25 yards and a touchdown. The Rams’ have struggled against running backs this season allowing 23.4 points per game while allowing over 100 yards on the ground. I would be surprised if Guerendo is unavailable this week, but Taylor is worth picking up as insurance.

Kimani Vidal RB (LAC)

15% Rostered

The Chargers went with a true backfield split between Gus Edwards and Kimani Vidal this week. After operating as the primary third-down back last week, Edwards was demoted to only playing on early downs. Kimani Vidal took all of the third-down and two-minute drill snaps this week. Edwards finished the game with 10 carries for 36 yards and a touchdown while Vidal finished with 8 carries for 34 yards and 1 target. With the opportunity to take over this backfield and the value of third-down snaps, Vidal is worth stashing on your bench.

Quentin Johnston WR (LAC)

53% Rostered

Quentin Johnston filled in for the injured Ladd McConkey admirably with 5 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Johnston has been up and down this season with four of his last six games going over 10.4 points while those other two games combined for 3.2 points. On top of McConkey’s injury, the Chargers will also be without Will Dissly for multiple weeks providing a boost to his 18.6% target share. The Chargers face the Bucs this week who allow an average of 35.1 points per game to wide receivers. With not many options at receiver during this waiver wire period, Johnston is the number one priority at receiver.

Jameis Winston QB (CLE)

32% Rostered

Jameis Winston has been a high-volume passer this season, consistently pushing the ball downfield with three games over 500 air yards, the most in the league, and is averaging over 40 attempts per game. Averaging 21.2 fantasy points per game, he has delivered QB1-level performances in 4 out of 6 starts. The Browns face the Chiefs and Bengals in the next two weeks, and they rank in the bottom ten this season against quarterbacks. Winston is a top streaming option for the next couple of weeks and worth picking up in fantasy leagues.

Baltimore Ravens DEF

48% Rostered

The Baltimore Ravens’ defense has not been as dominant as it has been in years past. It currently comes into Week 15 as the 26th-ranked defense. The Ravens are coming off of a bye week and face one of the best matchups in the New York Giants. The Giants currently allow the third-most points to opposing defenses and have allowed 9 or more points in three straight games since making the change at quarterback. The Ravens are the priority waiver wire add for defenses ahead of Week 15.

New York Jets DEF

46% Rostered

The Jets’ defense has not been as dominant since the change at head coach but has still managed two performances over 13 points in the last five weeks. Just like the Ravens, the Jets can take advantage of a great matchup against the Jaguars. In their last four games, the Jaguars have scored an average of 10.8 points while allowing their opponent’s defense to score over 10 points three times during that stretch. The Jets are the second-best defensive waiver wire pickup this week.
