QB recruiting for Michigan has been nothing but a success as of late. From 5-Stars JJ McCarthy and Jadyn Davis, to the #1 recruit in the nation Bryce Underwood, there’s no shortage of talent in Ann Arbor. In my private interview with QB target Trae Taylor, we discussed how his recent visit went among his personal relationships with the coaching staff and players.

“How did your recent visit to Ann Arbor go?”
“The visit was simple; we wanted to go spend time with Coach Sinagoga. We purposely went when nothing was going on just to talk ball with him and catch. I mean the lights were not even on in the building. Just him, my dad, and myself. Coach is one of the coaches that has seen me not at my best then kill it the next day. It was just a visit to show him appreciation.”
“What’s something that Michigan could improve on in your recruitment?”
“If I had to pick something Michigan could improve on in my recruitment, I’d say I need to build a stronger relationship with Coach Moore. Not that we have a bad relationship, because we don’t, we just (need) to make it stronger.”
“What do you like about competition? Specifically, Bryce Underwood.”
“What I love about competition is seeing where I stack up. Am I better than the guy next to me? It’s not someone’s opinion. We battle things out to know who is better. That’s what I love about competition. “
“Bryce is big bro to me, like I truly love big bro for real. But he will tell you we compete at everything. It doesn’t matter what it is. But what I love about our relationship (is that) we truly want nothing but the best for each other. We like to see each other succeed period. So, if I come to Michigan, I’m coming to take his job. And crazy thing (is) Bryce will help me to develop to push him.”
Trae Taylor holds offers from top programs such as Michigan, Georgia, and Miami. His commitment will not end until some time after March he tells me for GBM Wolverine. He is a 4-Star QB recruit by Rivals and the top football player in the state of Illinois. The Illini are pushing hard to keep Trae in his home state.
