This is the 19th installment of my no-money spent (NMS) series covering the best tips and tricks for navigating Madden 25 Ultimate team without using a credit card. Post-Super Bowl is always the biggest drop-off in player count in Ultimate Team after the first month of the game being released. At this point, we are working closer to those 99 overall cards with new promos dropping ahead of season six. In this article, I will dive into each promo to help you attack your no-money-spent grind. Below are some of the best ways to earn the new 96+ overall cards that just dropped.

Genki Force
Genki Force, which first appeared in MUT 24, is making its return to MUT later today with its first release in M25. For those unfamiliar, Genki Force is an anime-inspired program featuring brand-new player archetypes. A key addition this year is Fusion Champions—unique players that combine two athletes into one, allowing them to play on both sides of the ball, according to EA. It will be exciting to see how this plays out when the program goes live.
Genki Force players come with one of three Genki Chemistries: Red, Blue, or Purple. Blue Chemistry enhances speed and agility, Red Chemistry boosts strength and power, and Purple Chemistry offers a mix of both (available in Welcome Packs, Fusions, and LTDs). Check out all the details on Genki Force below!
Upgradable Card
When logging on you will receive a 95 overall LE Cameron Jordan who is a great no money spent option for us. He has 94 speed with an elite power move and block shed making him a solid option on the defensive line. To upgrade Jordan, you need to use the power obtained through the field pass and solo challenges to upgrade him.

Genki Force Field Pass
The Field Pass for the Genki Force promo contains power, BND player packs, and an elevation pass towards the end of the promo. Ultimately not one of the most lucrative field passes we have gotten but will still help us upgrade are team. Below is the full breakdown of the Field Pass.

Solo Challenges and Head-to-Head
There will be 10 solo challenges during each part and a full breakdown of the rewards are below. As far as the head-to-head event goes, you will earn more power currency for each win.

Super Bowl Promo Final Releases
The MVP of this year’s Super Bowl has arrived in MUT 25! Jalen Hurts led a dominant performance by the Eagles in their 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Hurts went 17/22 for 221 yards and 2 TDs through the air, while rushing for 72 yards and 1 TD on the ground, earning MVP honors for his efforts.

If you purchased the bundle during Zero Chill with the SB MVP Token, it can be redeemed for a version of 99 Hurts that quick sells for 500,000 Coins. If you didn’t get the MVP Token, a set requiring 7x 95 OVR players can be completed for an identical version of Hurts that quick sells for 650,000 Training instead. Hurts is easily the best card in the game right now and goes for about $3 million coins on the auction house.
Along with Hurts, they released a 96 overall LTD Devin McCourty who is also a solid option at free safety. McCourty had 97 speed and acceleration which is the highest mark in the game for a free safety with 97 zone coverage. He is not worth the investment though as he is only 5’10 and will get bullied by bigger receivers with similar speed numbers. My favorite budget safety right now is Julian Love from the Seahawks who is 94 overall with 95 speed and is an inch taller than McCourty.
NFL Honors
When you log on, you will receive a welcome pack to upgrade one of seven players to a 94 overall. To upgrade these players, you need to work through the solo challenges to earn the NFL honors tokens. There will also be three releases to this promo so it will be interesting to see what else they drop in the next couple of weeks. Below are all of the upgradable cards dropped in part one.
- 94 Josh Allen | QB | Bills
- Most Valuable Player
- 94 Saquon Barkley | HB | Eagles, Giants
- Offensive Player of the Year
- 94Â Patrick Surtain IIÂ | CB | Broncos
- Defensive Player of the Year
- 94 Jayden Daniels | QB | Commanders
- Offensive Rookie of the Year
- 94 Jared Verse | LOLB | Rams
- Defensive Player of the Year
- 94 Joe Burrow | QB | Bengals
- Comeback Player of the Year
- 94 Arik Armstead | RE | Jaguars, 49ers
- Walter Payton Man of the Year
Overall, none of these cards with their attributes fully upgraded are that special and I will likely wind up upgrading Jared Verse to increase my depth on the D-Line. The program dropped three LTDs which included Josh Allen, Jared Verse, and Patrick Surtain III all at 97 overall. Each of these players also has a 96 overall champion set that can be completed as well by filling the set with 93-93 overalls. Not gonna lie this promo was quite disappointing but can’t complain about a free 94 overall that is easy to get.
Roster Revolution
Roster Revolution continues to disappoint although the cards are starting to get slightly better with this last drop. Again, the program aims to help fill holes in Theme Team Depth Charts not to necessarily fill out our god squads. The LTDs from this drop include 97 overall Nick Chubb and Donovan Wilson. Wilson is a stud with 96 speed, 96 zone, and 97 hit power easily making him the top strong safety in the game. Let’s take a look at all of the other cards released in the latest drop.

My Current No Money Spent Squad
The team has made some significant upgrades thanks to the Super Bowl and Playoff Promos which were the most lucrative promos of the year. We addressed our needs at TE, LT, and WR on offense while adding a deadly RB duo. Defensively we finally addressed our safety issue with Brian Dawkins and Julian Love holding down our version of the Legion of Boom. On both sides of the ball, I feel comfortable with my lineup against any team but in the next few weeks, we will need to make upgrades to make sure our lineup is not outdated.
Offense

Strongest Positions: OL and TE
Weakest Positions: QB and WR
Defense

Strongest Positions: SS and DT
Weakest Positions: MLB2 and Pass Rush
Let me know what you guys are doing to help build your NMS squad this season in Madden 25.
