This is the second installment of my no-money spent (NMS) series covering the best tips and tricks for navigating Madden 25 ultimate team without having to use a credit card. Right now, one of the best ways to attack no money spent is by grinding the new breakouts promo. This promo gives us multiple free 85+ cards and the best running back in the game can be obtained for around 400k.

Breakouts Promo
The Breakouts Promo just dropped today at 1:30 ET and contains some of the best cards in the game. By just logging in we get a free upgradable WR Drake London. Once all of the tokens are added to this card, London will be 88 overall with 87 speed, 88 CIT, and 89 deep route running. On top of the free Drake London card, there is a new breakouts field pass, solo challenges, and Mut Draft Event.
In the field pass we have our typical low 80+ BND packs or low overall sellable packs. At the end, we have our first 85+ BND pack of the year for achieving 39,000 breakout points. In the Solo Challenges as well there is another opportunity to earn an 85+ BND pack at 64 stars. I am going to work towards the 88 De’Von Achane who is only the 2nd 90 speed card out in the game right now.
Breakout Badges
These badges can be used on the champions players from the Breakouts promo. The first Badge added to a champion player gives them a +1 speed boost and the 2nd badge added gives an extra ability to be added onto a player. These badges can be earned through the field pass, solos, and the MUT Draft Breakouts event. The players that the badges can be used on are 88 De’Von Achane, JiAyir Brown, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Anton Harrison, and Dalton Kincaid.
Season 2 Challenges
Season 2 Challenges are a consistent way of working towards the best NMS spent team in Madden 25. We get 6 free 81 cards that can be upgraded to 89 overall after we work through the entire field pass. The field pass this time around includes more options packs, which include the boom or bust pack. The boom or bust pack is worth the risk, I have pulled 84 Micah Parsons and other elite cards. I would recommend heading into solo seasons or solo battles to knock out the milestone’s challenges and daily challenges to level up the field pass quicker. Finally, always go to the store and get your 1-coin packs daily! I have packed 86 Malik Nabers and 86 Maserati Marv from the 1-coin packs this year.
Solo Challenges
Solos are one of the best ways to finish your daily challenges while working towards free rewards. The two programs you need to keep up with weekly are the Legends and AKA programs. When you earn enough tokens from playing these solos you can get a free Legend Boss fantasy pack. Right now, there are enough tokens in the game to get a boss legend pack and a boss AKA player. Part 2 of the epic challenges release this week with a reward of 2 packs and 20000 coins. This is not too shabby for only having to complete 5 solo challenges.
