The Best Way to Grind the Zero Chill Promo in Madden 25 Part 2 | No Money Spent Vol. 12

This is the 12th installment of my no-money spent (NMS) series covering the best tips and tricks for navigating Madden 25 Ultimate team without using a credit card. With Season 4 and the second release of the Zero Chill promo in full swing, there are multiple ways to attack the no-money-spent grind. Below are some of the best ways to earn the new 90+ overall cards that just dropped.

Zero Chill

The Zero Chill promo has officially launched in Madden Ultimate Team providing us with nine total player drops throughout the promo. When logging into Ultimate Team you will be rewarded with two players that can be upgraded to 93 overalls. These players include 93 David Njoku and 93 Montez Sweat who are both solid options at their respective positions.

The LTDs we are getting in part two are unbelievably good as they are dropping 94 Tyreek Hill, Isaiah Pola-Mao, and B.J. Hill. Both Tyreek Hill and Pola-Mao have 94 speed making them two of the most valuable cards in the game right away.

Zero Chill Field Pass

In the Field Pass, you can earn a 91 overall Julio Jones which can be upgraded to a 93 overall using Snow. Jones is earned at level 20 on the field pass and has 95 speed with 93 spec catch while having 94 deep route running. Throughout the Field Pass, you can earn snow and stockings to help get the valuable cards part of this promo. There are also multiple BND player packs as a part of the promo with the highest one being a 90+ overall card.

25 Days of Madden Rewards

Complete one challenge each day to earn rewards. The rewards are decent and listed down below.

Tier 1: 83+ OVR BND Zero Chill Player Pack

Champions

Champions can be earned by exchanging 2x 90-91 overall players and 3 90 overall Zero Chill Heroes. Overall, I think part one of the champions release was better but there are some solid cards that you can earn. Baker Mayfield is a solid option at quarterback with his 95-throwing power. Meanwhile Patrick Surtain II brings size and speed to the corner back position which always holds value.

Stocking Stuffers

Stocking Stuffers start at 87 OVR but your choice of 2 can be upgraded to 93 OVR with an Upgrade Token (1x purchased with Snow in Store, 1x via set in ZC Part 2 requiring all Stocking Stuffer Players, but auctionable versions are returned).

-Stocking Stuffers come with a Motivator Chemistry that boosts players from the same team the Stocking Stuffer represents. For example, the Giants Stocking Stuffer boosts players with Giants Team Chemistry. Motivator Chems will NOT reduce in power. Motivator options include the following:

Power Run: +1 STR, +2 RBK, +1 TRK, +1 RBP, +1 RBF
Pro Passing: +1 STR, +2 PBK, +1 PBP, +1 PBF, +1 MRR
Run Stopper: +1 IBL, +2 BSH, +1 PUR, +1 PRC, +POW
Pass Defense: +1 AWR, +2 FMV, +1 TAK, +1 ZCV, +1 PMV

Heroes
MUTmas Draft Rewards

By going flawless on five MUT Draft runs you will be able to choose between a 93 Tony Pollard and a 93 Joey Porter Jr that is actionable. The Joey Porter Jr. looks like a great card with 94 speed and 94 man coverage. Below are all of the rewards for going flawless in the Zero Chill Draft

Flawless Run Rewards

1st Run: 3x Medium Stockings
2nd Run: 2x Large Stockings
3rd Run: XL Stocking
4th Run: 2x XL Stockings
5th Run: 93 OVR Zero Chill Joey Porter or Tony Pollard
6th Run: 2x Large Stockings

MCS Twitch Stream Rewards

On December 18th starting at 6:00 PM ET on EAMADDENNFL’s Twitch account you can earn more rewards in Madden Ultimate team. By linking your account, you will be eligible for multiple packs and a 92 overall cornerback Lamar Jackson who has 94 speed and 92-man coverage. Below are all of the rewards you can earn from tuning into the live stream.

  • 15 Minutes: Snow Pack
  • 60 Minutes: Standard Drop Pack
  • 150 Minutes: 92 OVR MCS Lamar Jackson (CB)
  • 210 Minutes: Snow Pack
  • 240 Minutes: Standard Drop Pack

Merry Mix-Up

The Merry Mix-Up Program dropped its first release of the year today in MUT, featuring some of our favorite players but at new positions! The 94 cards in this promo will be the LTDs meanwhile the 93 overalls can be obtained through sets. Below are the first four players that were dropped in the promo.

New Gauntlet and MUT Champs Rewards

Now, when you win 16+ games in MUT Champs, a 92 OVR BND Amari Cooper will be an option to select out of the Fantasy Pack reward. 92 Cooper comes with a custom bucket containing your choice of Deep Out Elite (2 AP) or Mid In Elite (1 AP).

Reaching 10 wins in the Gauntlet now rewards a 94 OVR Jeremy Chinn. If you’re 1 of the first 500 players to achieve this feat, you will receive an auctionable LTD version of Chinn, which also comes with a few discounted abilities to choose from in a custom bucket that the Base version does not have. Both versions of Chinn have the same ratings. Below is a full breakdown of the rewards

Season 4

Season four of Madden Ultimate Team dropped yesterday and the theme for this season is “Football is Family”. There is a premium pass for $15 that gives you many rewards but as no money spent players, we are interested in what we can get for free. This season, the cards obtained through the field pass can be upgraded to 94 overall but currently you can only get these cards to 93 overall. Below are the players that we can upgrade through the pass.

Later in the program, you can achieve 87 Stefon and Trevon Diggs which can be upgraded to 94 overall as well. Out of the cards released in this field pass, I am looking at the Trevon Diggs card with 93 speed at corner, Nick Bosa to address my needs at LE, and Christian McCaffrey in the backfield. Once again you can earn coins, strategy items, player packs, and tickets throughout the field pass like past seasons.

My Current No Money Spent Squad

I finally made the necessary upgrades at RB and QB. We added 92 Christian McCaffrey to the squad and picked up 91 Johnny Football from the auction house to hold it down at QB for the time being. We also fully upgraded 91 Martellus Bennett at tight end while adding 90 Xavier Worthy to the wide receiver room. Defensively the only change I made was upgrading LE to 92 Nick Bosa. This All-Madden Promo should help boost my offensive line while giving me an option at LOLB or SS.
