Week 14 brings with it the second set of six byes all in the same week (Broncos, Colts, Commanders, Patriots, Ravens, Texans), and man is it a rough one. A handful of fantasy rosters are going to have at least a hole or two in their lineup this week, and we want to be able to equip you with the necessary insights to fill those gaps. Playoffs begin next week in a bunch of leagues, and if the outcome of your matchup either gets you in or out, you want to make sure you’re making the right decision when it comes to a streamer. As per usual, to qualify as a streamer, the players we will look at are owned and started in less than 50% of leagues (using ESPN percentages). Without further ado, let’s take a look at this week’s top streamers.
QB Streamer: Will Levis TEN
Though he has had a relatively rocky season thus far, Will Levis is beginning to show some signs of improvement lately. Since the departure of DeAndre Hopkins to Kansas City, Will Levis has been building a strong connection to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who has been finding the endzone time and time again. Despite their season-long woes, the Titans are taking on what could be considered the best possible matchup for the quarterback position against the Jaguars, whose defense has allowed the most TDs and the second-most passing yards to the quarterback position. Levis should be very available in leagues that can prove to be a solid streamer in Week 14.
Honorable Mention: Aidan O’Connell LV
RB Streamer: Sincere McCormick LV
The Las Vegas Raiders have had some significant injuries to their running back depth chart, opening some doors for others to make an impact. Undrafted rookie Sincere McCormick took advantage of his opportunity last week against a solid Kansas City Chiefs defense. In the past two weeks, McCormick has averaged 5.7 yards per carry on an offense that has struggled all year to move the ball on the ground. With both Alexander Mattison and Zamir White once again in question heading into the weekend, McCormick has a solid matchup against the Buccaneers, where an increased role could result in a positive fantasy output.
Honorable Mention: Tyjae Spears TEN
WR Streamer: Adam Thielen CAR
Veteran receiver Adam Thielen had an impressive showing against the Bucs last week, where he racked up 8 receptions on 10 targets for 99 yards and a touchdown. He is Bryce Young’s favorite target, which is one of the reasons why we have seen an uptick in Young’s production and confidence. Assuming Thielen will be peppered with targets again, he should have a strong week in a game where Carolina will need to pass the ball a bunch to keep up with the red-hot Eagles. The Panthers are a sneaky team that is trending in the right direction, and they can make some things happen if Bryce Young continues to play freely.
Honorable Mention: Elijah Moore CLE
TE Streamer: Grant Calcaterra PHI
Following today’s missed practice, Dallas Goedert is trending towards missing this weekend’s game against the Panthers, leaving the door open for Grant Calcaterra to step into the lead role. Calcaterra has proven that he can perform in Goedert’s stead, seen during the tight end’s previous injury. The Eagles have a great matchup for tight ends this week, as Carolina has allowed the most fantasy points per game to the position. Calcaterra is available in absolutely every league, so you can pick him up and slot him right in if Goedert has to miss some time.
Honorable Mention: Luke Schoonmaker DAL
K Streamer: John Parker Romo MIN
Ever since the Vikings lost their starter Will Reichard to injured reserve, their backup kicker John Parker Romo has slotted right in and has produced. Even though he had a bad miss against the Cardinals in Week 13, he has still had a constant flow of opportunities to be fantasy relevant week in and week out. He should prove to be a perfectly fine streamer this week against the Atlanta Falcons, where the game has a combined point total of 45.5 and the Vikings are favored.
If Will Reichard is activated and starts, you can slot him right in, as he is widely available as well from spending the past four weeks on IR.
Honorable Mention: Blake Grupe NO
D/ST Streamer: New Orleans Saints D/ST
Since losing Marshon Lattimore, the Saints defense has seen a noticeable decline. With that being said, they get to play the New York Giants, whose offense has been sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss, bouncing around different starting quarterbacks. Drew Lock will get the start again this week– he did not have too bad of a showing last week, besides throwing a terrible pick-six to DeMarvion Overshown. Regardless, the Giants are not an offense to be afraid of, and the Saints should be a sturdy streamer in Week 14.
Honorable Mention: Tennessee Titans D/ST
