Week 7 Fantasy Football Streamers for Each Position

As injuries continue to riddle the depth charts and the bye weeks continue, streamers are important more now than ever this Fantasy Football season. To qualify as a streamer, the players we will be taking a look at are owned and started in less than 50% of leagues. Below are my favorite streamers heading into Week 7 that I believe can help you get the edge over your opponent in your matchup this week.

QB Streamer: Drake Maye NE

Drake Maye had in interesting debut for the New England Patriots, completing 20 out of 33 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns and also leading the team in rushing. That being said, it was not all pretty as the rookie QB had two interceptions and a lost fumble. Nonetheless, a case can be made for Maye to be an intermittent streaming candidate for fantasy football purposes. The Patriots head over to London where they are facing an encouraging matchup in the Jacksonville Jaguars who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Honorable Mention: Andy Dalton CAR

RB Streamer: Ray Davis BUF

Ray Davis took full advantage of his opportunity on Monday Night Football when James Cook was a surprise inactive hours before the game. Finishing with 152 total yards on 23 touches, Davis had a strong breakout game that could carry over into next week in the event that Cook once again won’t be ready to go. Regardless, Davis has earned himself a lot of buzz as an elite stash and handcuff for the remainder of the season. The matchup against Tennessee is not an easy one, but if James Cook is inactive again, I’d be confident starting Ray Davis in a pinch.

Honorable Mention: Ty Chandler MIN

WR Streamer: JuJu Smith-Schuster KC

JuJu Smith-Schuster had a very strong outing prior to the bye week for the Kansas City Chiefs, as he looks to try and replicate that performance heading into Week 7. Following Rashee Rice‘s season-ending injury, we were curious to see who would be able to step into his role, and Smith-Schuster may be able to use his previous familiarity with the Chiefs to his advantage. JuJu recorded 7 catches for 130 yards in Week 5, spending a large chunk of time in the slot, with a slot rate of 38.5%. The 49ers’ secondary has been very solid this season on the perimeter but is giving up the fourth-most yards per reception to slot receivers thus far. With this in mind, JuJu should prove to be great streaming candidate and a solid flex in PPR formats for the foreseeable future.

Honorable Mention: Ray-Ray McCloud III ATL

TE Streamer: Zach Ertz WAS

The tight-end position continues to give fantasy managers’ issues on a weekly basis. If you are trying to find a Cole Kmet or Jake Ferguson replacement this upcoming week, turn to Zach Ertz, who has received a solid amount of volume thus far this season. The scheme on the offense of the Washington Commanders has been sure to involve the veteran tight end, and it should continue heading into this week’s favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers, who are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game on average to the tight end position.

Honorable Mention: Hunter Henry NE

K Streamer: Will Reichard MIN

A kicker that has flown significantly under the radar this fantasy season is Will Reichard of the Minnesota Vikings. Due to the early success of the Vikings explosive offense, Reichard has yet to miss a kick thus far and has scored over 10 fantasy points three times already this year. Reichard should be readily available in your leagues due to the Vikings being on a bye last week, and he should get some opportunities to score in what looks to be a high-octane matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Honorable Mention: Jason Myers SEA

DEF Streamer: Indianapolis Colts DEF

The Miami Dolphins have been a hard watch since Tua Tagovailoa exited in Week 2 with a concussion. Coming off a gritty win against the Tennessee Titans, the Colts should be able to contain the Miami offense and Tyler Huntley, who is still getting acclimated. This game should prove to be very low scoring (frankly, I don’t mind either defense as a stream in this matchup), and the Indianapolis pass rush should be able to record at least a few sacks.

Honorable Mention: Miami Dolphins DEF
