60. DeMarcus Lawrence EDGE Cowboys

Never listed as a premier player on the defensive side of the ball due to him never racking up high sack totals, Lawrence remains the best run defender in the league. According to Pro Football Focus Lawrence graded 92.2 against the run only behind Raiders Maxx Crosby who we will see later in the top 100 rankings. Lawrence is getting older but as long as Micah Parsons is on the other side of him, he will dominate his matchups week after week.

59. Jordan Mailata OT Eagles

One of the crazier stories in football, Mailata has turned himself into a stud opposite of Lane Johnson on the Eagles offensive line. He graded 84 on both run blocking and pass blocking according to PFF, which resulted in him being the 3rd highest graded tackle last season. Hopefully this year the fans will finally get him into his first pro bowl game that he should have been in the last three seasons.

58. Jaylen Waddle WR Dolphins

Overshadowed by Tyreek Hill, Waddle might just be the best 1B receiver in the league. His explosiveness off the line of scrimmage and deep route running ability is among the best. Despite playing 2nd fiddle to Hill, Waddle has posted 3 straight 1000-yard campaigns. Waddle in many other offenses would put up better numbers, but it is fun to watch the two fastest receivers in football on the same offense.

57. Demario Davis LB Saints

Demario Davis is aging like fine wine. Davis has either been a first or second team all-pro the last 5 seasons starting in his age 30 season. In his age 34 season Davis posted 121 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 12 tackles for loss. You have to wonder if he will slow down this season, but my gut is telling me he has a season or two of elite level football left in him.

56. Christian Wilkins NT Raiders

Wilkins earned himself a nice payday with his play last season for the Dolphins. In his age 28 season he had a career high 9 sacks, to go along with 23 QB hits in 2023. The tandem of him and Maxx Crosby on the same side is going to be a pass blocking nightmare for opposing offenses.

55. Justin Madubuike NT Ravens

Another interior defensive lineman that broke out last season, Madubuike was a key piece in the Ravens historic defense. In 2023 Madubuike had 13 sacks and 33 QB hits earning himself a second team all pro nod. Despite being an elite pass rusher, Madubuike was also stout against the run last season as well. At age 27, he could just be entering his prime and make himself a defensive player of the year candidate for years to come.

54. L’Jarius Sneed CB Titans

Sneed was dominant last season in the Chiefs quest for back-to-back super bowls. Sneed went the entire regular season without allowing a touchdown facing some of the game’s best receivers including Tyreek Hill, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and more. Sneed is one of the best man to man corners in the game but where he is underrated is his run defense. He rarely misses open field tackles and has a knack for making big plays on the outside.

53. Mark Andrews

Andrews has battled injuries the last two seasons resulting in him sliding down the general public’s top TE’s list. When Andrews is on the field, he is still Lamar Jackson’s go to target. In his best campaign Andrews posted 107 catches, 1361 yards, and 9 touchdowns in 2021. Heading into his age 29 season, he still has a lot of good football ahead of him and should have a bounce back year.

52. Deebo Samuel

A true swiss army knife, Deebo attacks defense in the air and on the ground. One of the toughest guys to bring down in football, he excels on yards after the catch. His numbers are never going to wow you in the box score but is the most prepared for guy in the 49er’s offense due to his versatility. If Deebo stays healthy in 2024 expect a big season from him again.

51. Brandon Aiyuk

The center of a lot of drama this offseason, Aiyuk has earned himself a big pay day and he knows it. Aiyuk has improved every year of his NFL career in the most stacked skill position group in the NFL. In 2023 Aiyuk had 75 catches, 1342 yards, and 7 touchdowns. Aiyuk is turning into an eliter route runner with his explosive big play ability that has made him unguardable at times. It will be interesting to see if we see him suit up week 1.
